Our Process

Consultation and Selection

You will need to have a rough layout of your project and we will work with you to select your stone.

Receiving a Quote

Once you make your selections, we will work with you to give you a quote for your project. Pricing will be finalized after measurement.

Measurement and Fabrication

One of our team members will come on-site to finalize the exact measurements to finalize your quote and begin fabrication.

Installation

After your stone is cut and polished to perfectly fit your needs, our team will come to install the stone on-site.

Step #1: Consultation and Selection

  • Getting started is easy. Make an appointment to visit with our showroom staff to discuss your project and options.  AA Rigoni Brothers, Inc. also recommends viewing materials from the comfort of your home to get an idea of colors that fit your design palette.  View Available Products
  • It is important to note that AA Rigoni Brothers, Inc is a custom fabrication and installation company. While we have product available for viewing, we may recommend visiting a slab supplier in order to see all available options in natural stone and quartz surfacing so you can hand pick the exact slabs that will be installed in your home.
  • Whether you are starting at our showroom or going straight to the supplier, we recommend bringing the following items to help you with color selection:
    • Cabinet door or sample swatch that shows the stain/paint color
    • Wall paint color
    • Back splash tile color
    • Floor tile or wood stain color
    • Rough drawing or cabinet layout (Link Here to for Quote Worksheet)
    • Pinterest photos or photos of the existing space

Step #2: Receiving a Quote

  • After you have made a material selection and provided us with a cabinet layout, we will work up a quote for you. The quote is not a final price until after a final measure is complete.
  • Once the material and price has been agreed upon, we can schedule the final measure. It is important to note that we require 50% down at final measure and the remaining amount is due at installation.  We accept check only.

Step #3: Measurement and Fabrication

  • One of our team members will arrive on-site during the scheduled time to confirm the final measurements for fabrication.  Please note that we schedule the final measure Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM-4:00 PM.
  • What to do before your measure:
    • Completely clear off your existing countertops.
    • If you are purchasing your own sink, please have it on site at the time of final measure. For bathroom vanities we ask that you have the sink and faucet on site at final measure.
    • Have your existing/new appliances installed before your measure.
  • During the measure be prepared to discuss the following:
    • Any overhangs and any supports that will be needed.
    • Seam and/or joint placement.
    • The sink and faucet templates or model numbers.
  • After the final measure is complete, we will review the dimensions and advise to whether any changes are required.

Step #4: Installation

  • All installations take place 7-10 business days following a final measure Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM-4:00 PM.
  • Kitchen installation averages 3-5 hours.
  • All granite/natural stone countertops will be sealed with a 15 year sealer called Stain Proof by Dry Treat.
  • Important notes for installation:
    • We DO NOT reconnect plumbing or install your faucet.
    • We DO NOT reconnect any appliances.
    • Natural stone is a product of nature and commonly contains pits, fissures, veining, and color variation, among other things.

Care and Maintenance

  • With a properly sealed countertop, follow these tips for the best way to clean granite:
  • Don’t use harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners, or abrasive scrubbing tools: Stick with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft microfiber cloth. Steer clear of vinegar, which can dull the granite and weaken the sealant.  Avoid abrasive scrubbers that could scratch the stone.
  • Wipe up spills as soon as possible: It is recommended that spills are cleaned up immediately with a soft cloth as a preventative measure.
  • Clean with warm water and a couple drops of dish soap: Wet a cloth and apply a bit of soap to the countertop or your cloth. Wipe the entire surface once to clean it. Wring your rag in fresh water periodically to avoid spreading food, dirt and grease. When you’re finished with the soap, rinse your rag and wipe down the counter with fresh water to remove any soap residue.
  • Dry the countertop: Always use a clean microfiber cloth to dry the countertop once you’re finished, otherwise you may end up with water spots.

For quartz countertops, we recommend visiting the manufacturers website and downloading their care and maintenance guide.
